Keoni Rosa: Architect
Keoni is a registered architect with more than 35 years of professional experience in architecture, interior design and graphic design. His work includes commercial and residential projects in different styles and of all budgets. His experience includes award winning clubhouses, community centers, sports clubs, wellness centers, restaurants and bars, specialty retail, corporate offices, mixed use developments, hospitality, industrial, educational, medical and custom residential projects.
Born and raised in Hawaii, he then moved to Los Angeles where he received a Bachelor of Architecture from the California State Polytechnic University Pomona. He also studied Architecture in Florence, Italy through an International Program. Keoni is a Registered Architect in the states of Hawaii and California. For eight consecutive years he was elected as a board member of the North Park Community Planning Committee and was the Chair of the North Park Planning Urban Design/Project Review Committee.
His awards include an ASID Award of Excellence in 2008 for Donna Marsh, a women’s clothing store in La Jolla, and in 2009 a Green Innovation Award for his office building which was 100% solar powered and constructed of recycled steel. In 2014 he was published in The Wall Street Journal for a modern concrete house, built to fight fires. In 2015 his Wellness Center was featured in Riviera and San Diego Magazine. In 2015 and 2018 he has had homes included in the USGBC United Stated Green Building Council Home Tours.
